MB Post @ Manhattan Beach, CA

Went to this relatively new place last night.  It was packed and ran into lots of people I knew, which is always fun.  We had the Bacon Cheddar Biscuits (good, but sweet butter was not great with them), Brussel Sprouts (a bit charred and unnecessary cheese on top, Scallops with Shrimp dumpling (very good), and Chicken Pot Pie (excellent).  we also say the Hamachi and that looked good. 

All in all, i will go back often.  Food was good, I'll just steer clear of brussel sprouts.  Great Atmosphere

The Bowery @ Sunset/Vine in Hollywood, CA

Went to this gastropub last night.  They say they are Hollywood's first gastropub.  It is small but cozy.  I had the Macaroni and Cheese (Very good, had nutmeg in it) and my husband had the Burger.  The burger comes on an english muffin and he says it was one of best he's had. 

I would go back if I was in the area.  The Bodega Wine bar is also at the corner and that looked worthy of a visit as well.

Bathroom is FINALLY finished!

Starting back on September 6th!, I can now say my bathroom remodel is finally done as of last Wednesday.  The reason for the long wait?  In addition to the remodel, the entire inside of the house was painted, we went on a trip to Yellowstone, and the vanity mirror was installed 4 times before it was right. 

It is awesome.  I now have quadrupled my storage space and now just need to put something up on the walls.
