Went to this Detroit style hot dog joint last night. It is based on a Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit, but not connected to it. They bring in a lot of Detroit based products -- Faygo sodas, Vernors, Stroh's, Sanders Hot Fudge, and of course the dogs. I thought the chili dog was just OK, but my husband felt it brought back many memories. The hot fudge sundae was a bit of a disaster, but still tasted good. The place should do well, they are open late and across the street from Whiskey a go-go.
